Falling Action

We define falling action as the events that happen right after the climax of a story. This is where we tie up loose ends and head to resolution. They finally believe in a character who has had to go rouge as they explain what happened. The cavalry arrives as the Indians ride away victorious. The lone gunman says goodbye to the ranch hands and scruffs the land owner’s boy’s head one last time.
